Ian Goodman, TGG's President, and our team of associates focus on four major consulting practices:
- energy and regulatory economics
- economic development
- litigation support
- business strategy for high-tech and creative start-ups.
The energy and regulatory economics specializations include utility system planning and operations (particularly hydroelectric systems), the evolving North American electric and gas markets, Canada-US energy trade and transmission, and energy-intensive industries.
The economic development practice also utilizes the firm's energy expertise. Since 1991, TGG has conducted over 15 national, regional, and state/provincial studies on the economic development impacts (notably jobs) and environmental impacts of various energy options in the US and Canada.
TGG's business strategy practice gives us the opportunity to apply economic principles and 20 years of small-business experience on a microeconomic scale by assisting high-tech and creative start-ups with marketing, operations and financial strategy.
